This one day course covers a comprehensive range of topics to prepare participants to administer emergency first aid care. Participants will learn a high level of practical skill so that they can deal competently with any situation that may arise.
A brief outline of topics covered are as follows: CPR, AED, choking, recovery position, recognition of heart attack, recognition of stroke, head injuries, fractures, wounds and burns.
Upon successful completion of the course participants are presented with an Emergency First Aid Certificate which is valid for two years.
